Who’s Excited About the Blueberry Festival Parade?
We are! But before we can head down the parade route, we’ve been asked to decorate the amphitheater in Centennial Park with some eye-catching florals, foliage and decorative items. We’ll post photos later today of our handiwork. Meanwhile, we’re still busy putting the finishing touches on our Fall Fest float. We’re proud to say that we rocked the competition last year (Judges’ and President’s awards), but humble enough to know that this year is a whole new game. We’re stepping it up with a new float theme and decorations that we hope will leave you smiling. We hope to see you along the parade route!
The parade is Monday, September 6th. Lineup begins at 7:30am and the parade begins at 9am.

PS- We were asked to decorate the amphitheater again this year. Check out the photos!
If you’ve been to Hensler’s during Christmas Fest, you know that each weekend Mrs. Claus greets our guests and visits with the children as they enjoy the activities on our farm. She is a favorite of our visitors during the holiday season, and you can’t think of Christmas Fest without also thinking about Mrs. Claus and her warm smile.

Area Christmas tree farm, Hensler Nursery, won Grand Champion at the Indiana State Fair Christmas tree competition on Thursday, August 5. Hensler’s entered two trees: an 8’ White Pine and a 7’ Fraser Fir. The white Pine received a blue ribbon in the pine category. The Fraser Fir, entered in the fir category, also received a blue ribbon. Further, the White Pine was judged to be Grand Champion and the Fraser Fir was named reserve champion.
Many of you have been to the farm for fall days and at Christmas Fest. Now, see Hensler Nursery at its spring finest and bid your price for plants to get your spring/summer outdoor season off to a really good start.
