Fort Hensler: the Straw Fort Built for Kids
We’re putting the finishing touches on Fort Hensler! Donna Stanley and her Daughter Jodi help fill the fort with creative characters this week. Donna is the creator of all our memorable characters that grace Fall–All Over the Place, and Christmas Fest.
We’re pretty excited about Fort Hensler- once we add bails of straw we’ll be done. Our hope is that when the kids come out to Hensler’s they’ll know we built this for them. Can’t wait to seem them enjoy it!

Maple Trees Show off Autumn Color at Hensler Nursery
The maple trees on our farm are putting on quite a show right now. The trees in this photo with their vibrant shades of yellow and orange are the same trees we tap in the spring for sap. Once we’ve harvested the sap, we’re able to transform it into maple syrup. This year we bottled our hand-made maple syrup to sell right here at Hensler’s. Our customers tell us their flapjacks have never tasted better!
